A Progression of Hedgehogs

Posted on March 19, 2013 by Laura Johnston | 3 Comments

I've already started thinking about my le animalé birthday plans for this year (hehe), which lead to me being nostalgic and looking back through my sold orders the other day. That first hedgehog was deemed "loaf of bread" by Anand, which still makes me laugh. When I came across it in my old orders I couldn't help but go through to see the other hedgehog totems I've made since then. It's interesting to see the progression! I also came across this cute little hedgehog necklace and the ever so itty bitty hedgehog doodleThe little fellas in the photo now live in Taiwan, Washington, and Florida. The one in the lower right hand corner is still available here.

I love your little hedgehogs! August 2012 is my favorite. The necklace one is fantastic! What a cute pewter guy he would make ;)

Thanks, SL! I like the August one too. :) Good point about the pewter, I’m sure I’ll do a pewter version of some sort at some point! :D

So you've found the cutest little clay animals around... hooray! It's great to see you here. :)

le animalé is all about cute little animals (with big personalities) ready to brighten your day. I'm Laura, and I make each tiny animal totem by hand. Explore my blog to meet lots of le animalé critters, see behind the scenes and learn about my process, and find fun tidbits and adventures in between.
